Please join us in welcoming Peter Kenneford, our new Director of Golf/Head Golf Professional.
Peter was raised in Southern Ontario and started playing golf at the age of eleven on a local 9-hole course in the small town of Queenston. He would wake up early every morning and ride his bike to the course, and play till the late afternoon. Throughout his golfing career he has been involved in many tournaments throughout Canada and the United States.
Peter is a graduate of Niagara College, where he studied Business Administration and Professional Golf Management. Peter is also a PGA of Canada Class A Member and has worked at a number of courses in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia.
For the past 11 years Peter has been in Alberta and British Columbia working in various areas of the golf industry. He has not only worked as a golf professional at a number of course but has also worked at Taylormade Canada as a Master Fitter; he is also certified in fitting with Callaway, Ping and Titleist. This experience has given him the technical understanding of the impact equipment has on the game of golf. He has leveraged this knowledge to help advance his passion for teaching others. His experience as a golf instructor coupled with his technical understanding brings a unique opportunity to the clubs golfing program. His teaching philosophy continues to evolve through building new lesson plans and using technology available to help his clients achieve their goals.
Peter looks forward to meeting the all the Creston membership. He is eager to embrace its great culture as he settles in a new area. Peter looks forward to growing that culture through his innovative way of approaching golf. In the coming months you will all learn more about Peter, but more importantly Peter will learn more about Creston and the Kootenay area.
